Virtual Team Townend Pub Quiz

9th May 2020, 8pm CET

About

In 2010, Christian and Niggy went out for a ride like we all do. But this time, they didn’t come home.

We organised the Team Townend Challenge in their memory, to bring friends, family and cyclists together to raise funds for our chosen charity, RoadPeace, who campaign for road safety and justice for victims of road collisions.

Every pound of the £70,000 raised to date has gone directly to RoadPeace.

2020 will mark the 10th anniversary of Christian and Niggy’s deaths, and the 10th Team Townend Challenge. To continue honouring them, this year, we are going big and aiming high!

We have set a target to reach £100,000. Find out how you can support Team Townend on our Fundraising page.
We have added an additional course to challenge even the keenest cyclists and most enthusiastic cake eaters

We are organising a special edition evening do with great beer and live music!

We are brewing some special Team Townend ale and will have new limited edition jerseys for sale in our shop.

JOIN TEAM TOWNEND

Team Townend Challenge would not be possible without the amazing volunteers who give their time to bake cakes and make sandwiches, and the route marshals who keep everyone heading in the right direction.

We are planning more activities for 2020 and are looking for volunteers to help out with:

  • Event registration on the day

  • Support at Loweswater Village hall

  • Marshalling on the short, long and dirty double courses

  • Evening do - ticket collections, bar support and logistics

If you would like to help, please complete this form with your details.

We are also looking for corporate sponsorship.

Get in touch at teamtownendchallenge@gmail.com to find out how we can work together.
